We were a bit hesitant to try because we felt the prices were a little high, but the pizza did not disappoint! Average size with a good amount of toppings and very filling. It was great!
We have ordered from Champs 4 times. And it’s time for a review. This pizza is delicious! My wife has found a lot of pizza gives her stomach aches. So we don’t order pizza as much anymore. Lame. But...for whatever reason...this pizza has never done that. The crust is awesome. I do enjoy when they cook it a bit longer. The pepperoni is great. We also have had their cinnamon dessert bread and this place does not skimp on the icing. It’s soooooo good.
I’ve now had Champs two times, and I’m officially glad that they are the closest pizza place to my house. I was hesitant to try because A: I hadn’t liked the place that was there before and felt dubious that this would be any better (admittedly unfair of me) and B: didn’t think the pizza looked all that good in pictures (that looks like a lot of basically raw onion to me...). HOWEVER. They sponsored our elementary school’s end of year event by giving the PTO a discount on pizza to serve to everyone. Naturally, I had some that night, and was very pleasantly surprised. It’s worth mentioning that I have only tried the cheese pizza and the pepperoni so far, but the undeniably delicious part of the pizza is the CRUST. Dang, it is so good. That perfect bit of chew, if you know what I mean? Lots of flavor. The sign on their store says “our dough makes the difference” and I think that’s real. It’s really, really good. Today, my kid and I shared the lunch special - a medium one topping pizza and a 20oz soda for 9.99 - a screaming deal. The only thing I wish had been better was communication about my order. Meaning, I wish their online ordering system had a few more features. I placed the order and it said pick up time was 25 minutes. I drove straight to the place, as we were out and about and wanted to pick up lunch before going to the park. I was there within 3 minutes of placing my order, and just parked in the shade and waited. There was never any text or email ir anything telling me my order was ready. After 25 minutes, I went in, and as soon as I did, I could tell I should have gone in sooner. The one employee at lunch hour was out front of the building having a smoke break (fine). He followed me in and asked if I was Emily, and grabbed my order. Based on temperature, and the fact that he’d been chilling out front, it had clearly been done for a while already. Probably 5-10 minutes. It isn’t a huge deal - next time I’ll just inquire sooner - but it would be nice to have received a notification of some kind. I almost gave a 4 star review, just because there is room to improve here, but it really is only like a 4 1/2 star situation, so I opted for the 5 star to help their rating and encourage others to try it. I do genuinely hope this pizza place makes it. I have yet to order delivery, so I can’t speak to that process yet. I’ll update my review if anything relevant comes up.
I decided to try this new pizza restaurant in the neighborhood and was not disappointed!! I ordered a cheese pizza and the Champ Club Salad. The pizza sauce and crust are on point The salad was fresh and yummy too!! It is conveniently located in Milwaukie with lots of parking. ...
Wished when you signed up you could use the free item along with the websites deals on the same order. Either way, dough was good. The stuffed crust pizza was perfect. Definitely coming back.
I ordered a pizza through door dash; the photos they had looked amazing, and the pizza was as good as it looked! I wanted a thicker crust and the crust was great, toppings were great and when I picked up my food it was seamless. Very nice person behind the counter and was quick! Will definitely order again.
We tried their new Detroit style meat lovers pizza and cheesy breadsticks tonight. The meats were very tasty and combined with their sauce and cheese made for a delicious pizza. The crispy cheese edges add to the delight. The breadsticks were covered in delicious cheese and came with some good marinara sauce. Big fan of Champ pizza.
Had this place 3 times now the pizza is awesome! I been getting the triple pepperoni. This place uses top shelf ingredients. Something you don’t always think about with pizza but trust me it does. It’s a very clean place when you go inside unlike other places where there’s flour all over the floors and all. ...
